Trying to conceive? See the special offers at our new Wickford Clinic
28 Jan 2019
If you are trying to start a family and having difficulties conceiving then some friendly fertility advice might make all the difference. Not knowing is stressful. Having the information that is right for you can improve your chances of getting pregnant and take some of the pressure off.
At Bourn Hall we have decades of experience helping people to overcome infertility and we understand what is needed to achieve their dreams.
This is why we designed a new type of fertility centre at Wickford. It captures everything that our patients, nurses, doctors, embryologists and receptionists said was important to help people feel supported during their fertility journey. The result is a calm and welcoming environment that offers fertility diagnosis and treatment, along with facilities for complementary therapists, counselling and patient support.
We invented IVF and our success rates are among the best in the country. However, only a small number of couples need IVF – there are many more ways that we can help you to conceive. It might be that simple lifestyle advice, weight loss or medication might be all you need.
To celebrate the opening of our state-of-the-art fertility clinic we have three special offers:
1. A free consultation with a fertility nurse specialist – come and talk to us about your concerns
Our friendly fertility nurses will give you personalised advice so you can think about what you might want to do next – there is no obligation to do anything. You can just have a chat about your personal situation and get some expert advice and information.
To have a free consultation you don’t even need to be trying to conceive; you may be concerned about something that may impact your future fertility. You could be single or in a relationship, may need donated sperm or want to talk about surrogacy. Our door is open for you to come and talk with us.
2. Half price Fertility Health + Wellbeing Check – fertility testing can give you the answers for £200
To become pregnant, a healthy sperm must fertilise the egg to create an embryo. This needs to move freely through the fallopian tubes to reach the uterus, attach securely to the womb lining and start to grow. If something goes wrong with any of those things then it makes getting and staying pregnant more difficult.
We can perform blood tests to check your egg store (ovarian reserve) and release of eggs (ovulation), an ultrasound scan to assess your reproductive organs, and a semen analysis to check for sperm count.
It may be that these tests provide you with reassurance about conceiving naturally – improving your diet or boosting ovulation with medication may be sufficient for a natural conception. If any form of fertility treatment is needed our fertility consultant will be able to advise you and point you in the right direction.
See more information about the Fertility Health + Wellbeing Check here.
3. £500 discount on IVF treatment with an Access Fertility funding package – for the first 30 Wickford patients
You may know that you need IVF but can’t get NHS funded treatment. To help make this treatment more accessible we have a partnership with Access Fertility, who offer a range of funding options including multi-cycle packages, money-back guarantees and unlimited cycles (attempts) for a two year period for an agreed upfront cost with a money-back guarantee. Our first 30 patients at Wickford who choose any Access Fertility package will receive a £500 discount.
