National Fertility Awareness Week 2014

Bourn Hall Clinic is proud to support National Fertility Awareness Week, which this year takes place from 27 October – 2 November 2014.

National Fertility Awareness Week is organised by InfertilityNetwork UK and aims to promote conversation about fertility issues; highlight the ways in which infertility can impact people’s lives; and provide information about the help that is available for anyone who is struggling to conceive.

“Fertility Check” offer for National Fertility Awareness Week

During National Fertility Awareness Week, Bourn Hall Clinic is donating £40 to Infertility Network UK for every Fertility Check booked during the period 27 October – 7th November 2014.

Fertility tests such as semen analysis for men and AMH (Anti-Mullerian Hormone) blood test for women along with a pelvic scan and a consultation can be used to identify or eliminate most of the common reasons for infertility; for example, poor quality or quantity of sperm, shortage of eggs, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or blocked tubes.

These tests are available on the NHS to couples that meet certain criteria, but may take several years to complete.

With a Bourn Hall Fertility Check these tests take just a few weeks and this enables individuals or couples to make informed choices about their fertility options.
