Helen Turner

Helen joined Bourn Hall, the world’s first IVF Clinic in July 2023. She previously enjoyed a 30-year career in the John Lewis Partnership, which has an ethos centred around putting people first and making a difference in their lives.

Helen says: “One in six people have difficulties conceiving, and all are of working age. As I know from John Lewis, creating a supportive workplace for those struggling with adversity is good for business as well as for staff wellbeing and retention.”

Since joining Bourn Hall, Helen has championed the ‘Fertility in the Workplace’ initiative, which encourages employers to develop pragmatic fertility policies, including flexibility to attend appointments. She has been closely involved in Bourn Hall’s partnership with the national charity Fertility Network UK, which delivers training to companies and offers a range of support for those impacted by infertility.  

Helen has a strong track record in customer service leadership, recruitment and development and commercial operations. Her areas of expertise include operational delivery; project management; business and brand development; employee engagement; learning, training and development; and coaching and mentoring.
