Hello, I’m Hannah and I specialise in fertility support, pregnancy loss, and pregnancy after loss.

I take a mind-body approach to fertility, and I acknowledge the importance of working in this area in a holistic way. I aim to help you feel more prepared and in control, at a time when everything can feel so unknown. As an integrative therapist, I use a combination of therapeutic approaches and techniques, including psychotherapy, counselling, mindfulness, visualisation, relaxation, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

I understand how challenging this time can be and it can have an impact on so many areas of your life. You may be finding it difficult to navigate your way through and you may be feeling overwhelmed and anxious about the future. When experiencing difficulties with fertility, it is just as important to work on the emotions as well as the physiological aspects.

With so much focus on conceiving and when this continues not to happen, it can evoke emotions and feelings that may be difficult to manage. You may have developed beliefs that conceiving your own baby will never happen. This belief can become particularly strong for those who have experienced many months or years of not conceiving naturally or have had IVF treatments that have not resulted in a successful pregnancy.

Challenging unhelpful thoughts and creating a healthy mindset can create balance and improve well-being by reducing stress levels associated with such beliefs.

I can support you by:

  • Providing a kind and non-judgemental space for you to explore thoughts and feelings.
  • Helping you to explore ways to reduce anxiety and stress and the impact this has on the delicate hormone balance.
  • Guiding visualisations to support mind-body connection.
  • Helping you to create a healthy mindset throughout the rollercoaster ride of infertility.
  • Assisting you to regain control over your life and recognising there is still life outside of infertility.

I hold recognised qualifications in psychotherapeutic counselling, hypnotherapy, as well as womb and fertility massage. I am a registered member of the BACP, NCPS accredited, and a certified hypnotic fertility practitioner.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

“We went to an open evening at Bourn Hall Wickford and came away feeling really positive about the place. The staff were really friendly and the presentation was clear about the statistics regarding success rates and live birth rates; their data was very transparent. We came away feeling like we would really be looked after.”

“We chose to make an appointment at Bourn Hall Wickford because of the favourable reviews. When we got there and met the staff they were just so lovely, making us feel welcome and explaining to us what tests would need to be done and what our options were; we just thought ‘yes, let’s get the ball rolling!”
