Pathways to Parenthood Fayre – free event – 17 June 2017

The dream of parenthood can be achieved in many different ways and we are holding a free ‘Pathways to Parenthood Fayre’ to explore how a family can be achieved through fertility treatment with egg or sperm donation, surrogacy, fostering or adoption.

The first step can be deciding what ‘family’ means to you. Having a family of your own can be achieved in many ways and help is available for single people, same sex couples and for people suffering infertility for whatever reason.

Tanya Turner, Head of Patient Services says: “We held a Fertility Fayre in November and we had lots of feedback that people enjoyed the environment at Bourn Hall as well as gaining valuable access to a range of experts all in one place.”

Representatives from Fertility Network UK, Cambridge Adoption and Fostering Services and other relevant organisations, such as those associated with surrogacy, will be available at the fayre with information and advice. Bourn Hall experts in egg and sperm donation programmes will be there along with specialists with experience of surrogacy and same-sex fertility treatments. There will also be members of staff to talk to about our Fertility Support Group.
